摘要: Aims and objectives To explore factors affecting self-management experiences of patients with chronic hepatitis B within their social cultural environments. Background Many cases are not detected until they in end-stage liver disease. Despite an increasing trend indicating a lack health awareness as the reason, studies have rarely referred to personal, environmental constraints from patients' perspectives. Design A descriptive qualitative study. Methods Forty-seven adults diagnosed were interviewed private area hospital clinic Taiwan 2018. Four open-ended questions relating care included following: disease detection; control; preventive care; perceptions screening follow-ups. Data examined using content analysis. This study also adhered consolidated COREQ guidelines. Results Five main themes emerged: personal experiences, occupational health, availability conventional treatment, beliefs about family roles. Findings note that some participants became aware had never known difference between follow-up for regular adult/labourer checks due information living environment. added alternative treatments strategies others frequently ignored appointments because different beliefs. Conclusions Patients' driven by dynamic influences suggesting development policies integrating family, could enhance individual subsequent behaviours B. Relevance practice Adding person-centred case management adherence follow-up. Attention should be given provider influence own attitude communication on participation self-management.
