摘要: A comprehensive study of a number in-forest wood energy supply chains was undertaken to collect empirical data on many aspects both the stand and operational parameters therein. The data then used to develop statistical models, so that harvesting systems could be compared in simulated environment. The environment had two factors: mean diameter at breast height (dbh) (cm), mean extraction distance (m). The harvesting compared were: cut length (CTL) harvesting, CTL with chipping pulp assortment, whole tree with terrain chipping whole trees. Not only were models developed productivity machines, but taper equation, dbh total model, set dbh distribution predict the volumes assortments attributable each system down level. The productivity this estimate cost production per hectare for the harvesting systems. value unit volume taken from literature, a profit analysis performed system. simulation results show tree harvesting returns highest positive profit all levels at short distances, suffered machine interaction chipping system long distances. between chipper the chips forwarder analysed using discrete event simulations. of the assortment returned longer
