Examples of Comet-like Spectra among Beta Pic-like Stars

摘要: Beta Pic is a nearby main-sequence star with an extended dust disk, large infrared excess, and mid-infrared emission similar to that seen in some cometary spectra. We selected sample of stars whose properties resemble obtained 8 13 micron spectra (resolution 200). find variety silicate features among the our sample, ranging from classic interstellar comet P/Halley laboratory Interplanetary Dust Particles (IDP's).
