摘要: Background:It is currently unknown how pre-existing lumbar spine conditions may affect the medical evaluation, draft status, and subsequent career performance of National Football League (NFL) players.Purpose:To determine if a diagnosis affects player’s status or his longevity in NFL.Study Design:Cohort study; Level 3.Methods:The investigators evaluated written evaluations imaging reports prospective NFL players from single franchise during Scouting Combine 2003 to 2011. Players with reported appropriate were included this study. Athletes then matched control draftees without by age, position, year, round drafted.
