摘要: In Chap. 4, we introduced quantum mechanics as the proper alternative to classical describe physical phenomena, especially when dimensions of systems considered approach atomic scale. The concepts learned will now be applied properties electrons in a crystal. During this process, make use simple mechanical which were mathematically treated previous chapter. This lead us description very important concept solid-state physics, namely, that “energy band structures.”
