摘要: Hydrogen sulfide (H2S) is a signaling molecule used to modify neuronal transmission, regulate vascular tone, protect tissues from oxidative stress, sense oxygen, and generate ATP. polysulfides (H2Sn) have recently been identified as molecules that mediate the activation of ion channels, regulation tumor growth, transcriptional stress; some which were previously ascribed H2S. Cystathionine β-synthetase (CBS), cystathionine γ-lyase (CSE), 3-mercaptopyruvate sulfurtransferase (3MST) are known H2S-producing enzymes. 3MST also produces H2Sn other persulfurated such cysteine persulfide, glutathione proteins. The chemical interaction H2S nitric oxide (NO) H2Sn, may be mechanism underlying synergistic effect NO was initially reported on relaxation. elicit their via S-sulfuration (S-sulfhydration) specific residues target This review article focuses production roles well in central nervous system.
