摘要: The late Ladinian to Late Triassic succession of the Tahtalidag (upper) Nappe Antalya nappes was studied in Egregindere section, north city Antalya, SW Turkey. chert bands in central part of the section have yielded poorly moderately preserved radiolarians documenting Muelleritortis firma and Muelleritortis cochleata radiolarian zones. Based on succession, a major deepening event, evidenced by cherts, took place between middle Ladinian. Late Triassic thick-bedded neritic limestones represent shallowing-upward sequence, which formed as result horst-like rising during block faulting. Fifty-nine taxa been determined from Upper section. One species ( elegans ) two subspecies firma equispinosa firma globosa are described new.
