摘要: Abstract Patients with food-induced allergic disorders may be first seen a variety of symptoms affecting the skin, respiratory tract, gastrointestinal and/or cardiovascular system. The skin and tract are most often affected by IgE-mediated reactions, whereas isolated caused non-IgE-mediated reactions. When evaluating possible disorders, it is useful to categorize into IgE- syndromes. initial history physical examination essentially identical for but subsequent evaluation differs substantially. Proper diagnoses require screening tests evidence food-specific IgE proof reactivity through elimination diets oral food challenges. Once properly diagnosed, strict avoidance implicated or foods only proven form treatment. Clinical tolerance allergens will develop in many patients over time, therefore follow-up challenges indicated. However, number novel immunomodulatory strategies developmental stage should provide more definitive treatment some these next several years. (J Allergy Clin Immunol 1999;103:981-9.)
