Effect of Co2+ and Ni2+-doped zinc borate nano crystalline powders by co-precipitation method

摘要: Abstract A simple co-precipitation method has been used for the synthesis of Co2+ and Ni2+-doped zinc borate nanopowders. X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR), UV/Vis absorption, Scanning electron microscope (SEM) with EDS photoluminescence (PL) spectroscopies techniques employed their characterization. Powder data reveals that crystal structure belongs to monoclinic both as-prepared samples. SEM images showed surface morphology prepared Optical absorption spectra characteristic bands doped ions in octahedral site symmetry. From optical field inter-electronic repulsion parameters are evaluated. The FT-IR vibrational related ZnO, BO3 BO4 molecules. Photoluminescence exhibited emission ultraviolet blue regions.
