摘要: A single-shot, two-echo method for the simultaneous detection of multiple-quantum (MQ)-filtered γ-aminobutyric acid (GABA) and creatine (Cr) was developed demonstrated in human brain vivo at 3 Tesla. The simultaneously measured Cr singlet served as a navigator spectral phase GABA any frequency shift during measurements due to drift static magnetic field (B0) or subject movement, well an internal concentration reference. In addition, use double-band frequency-selective MQ filter C3 C4 methylene protons provided very robust measurement GABA, with excellent suppression overlapping metabolites such glutathione (GSH) each single scan. Contamination from macromolecules also be negligible this method. GABA-to-Cr ratio 0.09 ± 0.03 (mean SD, N = 17) estimated frontoparietal region 0.66 0.19 μmol/g reference method, 0.69 0.18 external observed pattern doublet consistent among all subjects, separation ∼13 Hz.
