摘要: Abstract The umbrella of preoperative education covers a broad range interventions including didactic information about the rheumatic disease diagnosis and symptoms, management strategies around self-management pharmacologic treatments, behavioral such as physical activity smoking cessation. Patients who elect to undergo surgery their family caregivers will benefit from practical surgical procedure, hospital experience, perioperative care facilitate recovery alleviate anxiety. Patient also extends therapeutic involving medication usage peri- post-operatively throughout life course, expected benefits, risks adverse events, interactions with concurrent medications. In patient-centered model, patients families undertake shared decision-making process multidisciplinary providers promote safe, successful experience positive long-term outcomes for quality emotional well-being.
