摘要: The BaTiSi 3-x Ge x O 9 crystalline phases were synthesized, and their phase-stability photoluminescent (PL) properties investigated. benitoite tetragermanate-type crystallized in the range of x= 0.75-1.5 2.0-3.0, respectively. It was suggested that 4+ occupies octahedral Ti site due to closeness each ionic radii. diffuse-reflection spectra revealed an increase oxygen-defect center by substitution phase. Although 2.25 0.75 phase showed efficient blue PL at room temperature, intensity decreased drastically with increasing x, eventually BaTiGe 3 indicated a very weak spite almost same structure as benitoite, is, absolutely-isolated TiO 6 unit ring. reduction BaTi (Si, Ge) caused center.
