A source of high-power pulses of elliptically polarized ultrawideband radiation.

摘要: Here, we describe a source of high-power ultrawideband radiation with elliptical polarization. The consisting monopolar pulse generator, bipolar former, and helical antenna placed into radioparent container may be used in tests for electromagnetic compatibility. In the source, number turns N = 4 is excited high-voltage pulse. Preliminary, examined antennas at low-voltage aiming to select an optimal estimate center position boundary far-field zone. Finally, characteristics operating mode repetition rate 100 Hz are presented paper as well. Energy efficiency 0.75 axial ratio equal 1.3. effective potential voltage amplitudes generator −175/+200 kV reaches 280 kV.
