摘要: A 1-day meeting, attended by invited respiratory and primary-care specialists all of whom had an international profile a specific interest in Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), considered research recommendations from the Global Initiative Lung (GOLD) workshop report. Attendees discussed developing tool to complement spirometry help physicians assess treatment success patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Discussion focused on requirement such tool, limitations existing tools. Proposals followed for simple, cost-effective checklist primary-care. This paper is consensus report discussions meeting. Decisions reached proposed questionnaire were unanimous.
