摘要: In this chapter, we discuss models that are popular in the description of ultracold bosons (quasi-) periodic potentials, namely Bose–Hubbard model and discrete nonlinear Schrodinger equation. These two methods have common both employ Wannier functions as a single-particle basis. For our purposes it will be sufficient to restrict discussion case 1D-double-well potentials. We begin with parameters appear models.
