摘要: This chapter focuses on masculinities in early Hellenistic Athens, approximately 323–275 BC, based an analysis of literary sources from this time and place. Of special interest here is to see what the can tell us about ideal masculinity Athens during time. achieved through using gender theories, including theories studies, when analysing material. When applying such study different historical periods, new insights into past be gained, which also aim chapter.
