摘要: The two-step reduction of Zn(II) ions at the dropping mercury electrode in 1 M NaClO4/NaI mixtures is studied by impedance method. Both steps are found to be catalysed, increase logarithm rate constant being proportional surface excess I−. Attempts made interpret results quantitatively with existing models and applicability these this reaction discussed.
