摘要: Abstract In temperate climates where cows are primarily managed at pasture shortages of grass could result in nutritional deficits for the cow and may have a variety behavioural consequences. Lying behaviour is one most researched aspects dairy behaviour, can provide insights into welfare physiological state. This study investigated effect daily herbage allowance (DHA) on lying during early lactation. Ninety-six were randomly assigned to eight treatments 2 × 4 factorial design; experimental duration (2 week (2 W) or 6 (6 W)), levels (60%, 80%, 100% 120% intake capacity). Cows treatment 28 ± 8.4 days milk, 6 W recorded using modified voltage data loggers 4 occasions; prior start experiment, 3 (MID), (LATE), 7 weeks after concluded (POST), when all returned feed capacity.
