摘要: Objectives: This article examines the intentions to seek (preventive) psychological help among older persons. The study is carried out from theory of planned behaviour and distinguishes attitudes (psychological openness), subjective norms (indifference stigma), perceived behavioural control (help-seeking propensity) in explaining with regard seeking preventive therapeutic help. Method: 167 Dutch adults between 65 75 years age filled a questionnaire measuring these concepts. Results: Older have low professional for problems. Their use are somewhat higher. rather indifferent stigma they perceive control, but less open when it comes their own person.
