摘要: Incoherent neutron scattering from protons in HCl has been measured mainly Phase I with the disordered structure of molecular orientation. The observed energy spectra neutrons are well interpreted by a reorientational jump model which molecule makes reorientation among twelve directions through 60° and 90° flipping processes. residence time τ between successive jumps obtained model-fit obeys relation τ=τ 0 exp ( E / k B T ) =1.07×10 -12 sec. =0.372 kcal/mol. higher-temperature region I. value was compared correlation for NMR method.
