摘要: "During a study of Carboniferous blastoid fauna from Grassington, Yorkshire, over thousand blastoids were collected, which 45 individuals referred to the genus Codaster. This has left no doubt that two species Codaster acutus McCoy and trilobatus are synonymous. (in sense McCoy9s original description), is an old age form, its characteristic feature only being attained by minority long-lived individuals. valid name, first described, also type-species for genus. In order supplement observation on these specimens, biometrical methods have been employed relative growth height, diameter, number hydrospires."
