摘要: Abstract This report gives the 5-year results of a controlled trial policy surgery and radical radiotherapy in treatment patients with small-celled or oat-celled carcinoma bronchus diagnosed preoperatively on bronchial biopsy thought likely to be operable. The analysis included 144 patients, 71 allocated at random series 73 radical-radiotherapy series. A complete resection tumour was performed 48% series, thoracotomy 34%, no 18%. Radical received by 85% palliative 11%, 4%. Additional 62% 30% additional for majority radiotherapy. survival-rates were 4% 10% 24 months, 3% 7% 48 1% 60 respectively. one survivor patient too breathless who treated three survivors had all They remain alive well evidence recurrence after more than 6 years. mean survival 199 days 284 days, statistically significant difference (P=0.05). It is concluded that this has given, terms survival, somewhat better result judged
