摘要: Abstract When silica/polybutadiene and silica/styrene-butadiene are submitted to γ irradiation at 77 K a scavenging of the silica radiolytic species by absorbed vinyl units takes place surface with concomitant grafting crosslinking polymers. Key intermediate in such reactions SiO2-bonded radicals structure SiO2–C•(CH3)CH(R)(R′). The role is rationalized terms following steps: a) absorption radiation energy bulk particles followed exciton migration surface; b) excited groups (silanols) giving radicals; c) polymers initiated grafted radicals.
