摘要: The Ready-made Garment (RMG) industry in Bangladesh is the major foreign currency earning sector with highest employment rate. exported garments worth equivalent of US $10.7 billion 2008, which was about 3.87 per cent global total value (US $276 billion) garment exports (EPB, 2008; BB, 2008). Despite phenomenal success RMG sector, poor working conditions factories and lack social compliance are other serious concerns. This article investigates lapses establishing International Labour Standards to what extent Social can be incorporated into industry. It proposes an effective monitoring surveillance system (EMSS) model could used establish remove labour unrest from sector.
