摘要: The purpose of this article is to introduce the Guidelines for communicating rights non-native speakers English in Australia, England and Wales, USA. guidelines were authored by international Communication Rights group (CoRG) that brought together 21 linguists, psychologists, lawyers, lawyer-linguists interpreters. intention was “translate” research on communication police interviews practitioners policy makers. Drawing linguistic psychological research, as well our collective experience working with specic cases, CoRG produced a 2000-word document seven recommendations, an explanation accessible ocers, judges justice administrators, bibliography relevant research. explains why project restricted three common law countries, encourages others consider using document, following article, starting point similar development their own country or jurisdiction.
