摘要: Intracellular and extracellular recordings from the stem, gastrozooids, palpons, tentacles nectophores of physonectid siphonophores are presented. The stem organization previously described for Nanomia applies with only minor differences to Forskalia Agalma. endodermal epithelium is shown be pathway slow potentials. Pumping cycles feeding activities organized locally in gastrozooids palpons. Protective retractions coordinated, probably through a direct nervous link stem. This also true tentacles. ectoderm bracts conducting epithelium; excitation it can induce activity but mechanism unknown. Impulse traffic between zooids erratic breaks down rapidly repeated stimulation. motor centres connected by labile link, an alternative epithelial exists.
