摘要: A Ka-band broadband TE01-mode overmoded waveguide bend based on an elliptical structure is proposed for high-power transmission line in this paper. To investigate the mode conversion inside bend, coupling coefficients of are theoretically deduced. The influence cross section power-handling capacity and efficiency studied. Calculation simulation results present that has a propagation bandwidth 7 GHz (relative 21%) with over 95%. prototype fabricated measured. average 93% range 29–36 according to S-parameter measurement. near-field test demonstrated TE01 high purity obtained at output port bend. performance investigated by connecting it Gyrotron traveling wave tube, works stable under maximum power 150 kW. measurement demonstrate novel approach successfully design
