摘要: Abstract ZnO hexagonal pyramids have been synthesized on silicon (1 0 0) substrates by thermal evaporation of metal Zn powder at a low temperature 467 °C without catalyst. Scanning electron microscopy and transmission observations show that the growth is initiated preferred nucleation grain or nanorod Si substrate, followed via vapor–solid process. The photoluminescence spectrum shows two emission bands located 380 503 nm. Because their characteristic pyramid shape with nanotip, may be expected to suitable for electronic optoelectronic devices such as field emitters, atomic force probes, medical diagnosis.
