摘要: The “forward problem” in structured-population modeling is to work from observations and assumptions about the birth, death, developmental rates of individuals within a population predict dynamics: how numbers change through time. This well-behaved respectable type problem that it properly posed: inputs model (information births, deaths, development) completely specify outputs (population dynamics).
