Effects of nanosized hydroxyapatite coatings on osseointegration

摘要: INTRODUCTION: For implants which are designed to integrate with bone tissue (osseointegration), the surface structure is very important ensure rapid growth of cells and long term stability. Techniques improve osseointegration include roughening blasting or acid etching, altering chemistry coatings such as titanium dioxide hydroxyapatite (HA).
