摘要: Background/Aims: To develop a clinically relevant immunocompetent murine model to study pancreatic cancer using two different syngeneic cell lines and assess MRI for its applicability in this model. Methods: Two lines, 6606PDA Panc02, were employed the experiments. Cell proliferation migration monitored vitro. Matrigel TM was tested role tumor induction. Tumor growth assessed after orthotopic injection of cells into head C57/BL6 mice by histology. Results: Proliferation Panc02 significantly faster than those 6606PDA. did not affect growth/migration but prevented spread thus avoiding undesired peritoneal growth. could reliably monitor longitudinal both lines: had more irregular finger-like growth, grew
