摘要: Brain tumors are a large and heterogeneous group of neoplasms affecting the central nervous system that, despite progress modern medicine, still represent great challenge for physicians all over world. The annual global age-standardized incidence primary malignant brain is ~3.7 per 100,000 males 2.6 females. Rates appear to be higher in more developed countries (males 5.8, females 4.1 100,000) than less 3.0 2.1 100,000). Conversely, both non-malignant about 10 14 cases 100,000/ year world, with white having highest rate. Males also generally have rates while nonmalignant tumors, primarily meningiomas. Worldwide mortality ~2.8 male 2.0 100,000. Mortality differ significantly by histology age. For example, glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) has 5-year survival rate 3.3%, low grade gliomas, such as pilocytic astrocytomas, oligo‐ dendrogliomas, ependymomas 70%, anaplastic astrocytoma, gliomas lymphomas 40% [1].
