摘要: Noncoding RNAs are key players in the regulation of complex cellular processes. Over years, it has been demonstrated that their abnormal expression is associated with many human pathologies including developmental and neurobehavioral disorders, diabetes, obesity, cancer. A wide spectrum activities a large number genes regulated by RNA-dependent mechanisms makes ncRNA molecules attractive targets for developing next generation therapeutic agents. This chapter outlines principles RNA regulation, involvement various diseases, strategies application ncRNA-targeted approaches.
