摘要: Abstract Renewable energy sources are commonly available on earth; thus, both research and practical applications have drawn significant interest. In the large-scale renewable system, power quality in grid, particularly harmonics flickers, has a massive influence grid system. Recent years seen enormous use of magnetically controllable reactors (MCRs) to solve these problems. MCR can provide reactive voltage regulation ultra high suppress frequency overvoltage operation, eradicate generator self-excitation, dynamically adjust charging transmission line, secondary arc current, damping system resonance, so on, which meet different needs modern Considering MCR’s development status, this paper provides detailed theoretical analysis its configurations. Moreover, control mechanisms other associated economic technical factors relevant application selection explained detail. It aims give researchers engineers dealing with issues broad perspective technology’s status. Finally, future directions for discussed.
