摘要: Lake Chapala, the most important lake in Mexico, has suffered from cultural eutrophication problems for many years, manifested by growth of aquatic vegetation and an increase primary productivity. It was found that about 70% total phosphorus entering Chapala is orthophosphate, thus increasing biological availability nutrients lake. In addition, hydrologic imbalance lake, caused over-use water resources along Lerma–Chapala basin, significantly increased hydraulic residence time inflow waters, effects added phosphorus, creating conditions lake’s status. The shallow characteristics action wind forces produce rapid changes quality, especially distribution phosphate. The focus this paper on development a historical orthophosphate balance quantifying main point non-point sources contribute to enhancement nutrient estimation amount phosphate can be used determine appropriate management practices reduce loads
