摘要: Fisheries co-management as an alternative to centralized command and control fisheries management is often suggested a solution the problems of resource use conflicts over exploitation. This paper highlights some elements transaction costs under system. The can be categorized into three major cost items: (i) information costs, (ii) collective decision-making (iii) operational costs. An approach measuring systems both in static dynamic processes also proposed. There need empirically evaluate nature involved institutions basis for evaluating efficiency or net benefits co-managed compared centrally managed fisheries.
