摘要: We present a review of the international literature on medical and psychological effects torture. Our reveals that certain tortures their physical emotional sequelae are more prevalent than previously appreciated. They include common occurrence sexual violence during torture women female adolescents high frequency head injury associated neuropsychiatric consequences. recommend use standardized diagnostic criteria in evaluation patients who have survived torture; this will facilitate patient care documentation human rights violations.
