摘要: Abstract The present study assesses the performance of nine empirical models: models Bristow & Campbell and Hargreaves Samani (together with their modified versions) in estimating daily monthly solar irradiation using just extraterrestrial air temperature extremes (maximum minimum) as input data. Two schemes to calculate amplitudes (Δ T 1 Δ 2 ) were used. data used this cover period from 2007 2009 collected at eight solarimetric stations Alagoas State (Northeastern Brazil); three are located interior, two hinterlands humid/coastal zones. Statistical parameters were used evaluate model performance. estimates obtained scheme better than those for interior (1.10%) (2.50%). (0.160–0.201) (0.158–0.199) values coefficients original did not show significant differences among them; was case model. Have a special coastline (thermal amplitude, humidity cloudiness) altitude (bulk thermal capacity optical depth atmosphere). On basis, yields model: 2.30% (interior) 5.20% (hinterlands). latter had mainly sites along zone (10.20%).
