摘要: Abstract Background Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) due to Hepatitis B viral (HBV) infection is a major cause in Asia-Pacific countries. Its early detection of paramount importance using marker having both sensitivity and specificity. The present study promises diagnostic prognostic markers by the identification site-specific glycoforms on Haptoglobin (Hp) LC-MS/MS lectin ELISA liver diseased conditions HBV infection. Methods Three groups patients: chronic, cirrhosis HCC with along controls were enrolled. Hp was purified affinity column chromatography and, peptide sequence, N-glycosylation site, glycan composition identified mass spectrometry. Quantitative used measure levels fucosylation diseases HBV. Results significantly lower when compared Non-HCC cases (p Conclusion Quantitation protein Lectin may be useful glycobiomarker either alone or combination (AFP + DCP + FucHp; AUC = 0.94) diagnosis clinical practice.
