摘要: The mathematical modeling of the consolidation theory is outlined moving from fundamentals mechanics porous media. Starting averaging approaches or postulates mixtures, we introduce volume fraction concept, balance equations for components mixture (written in Eulerian and Lagrangean frames reference) concept effective stress. Initial boundary value problems are considered typical geotechnical applications, this context Biot’s illustrated. A final discussion concerns priciples that to be accomplished when formulating constitutive relationships.
