摘要: 1. Remotely sensed data are frequently employed for monitoring vegetation and estimating herbivore diversity. Their use predicting predator arthropod species abundance richness has also been investigated with success ants beetles in forests using normalised difference index (NDVI) mountain light detection ranging data. 2. We whether indices, derived from multispectral SPOT imagery could predict of ground active spiders a new ecological context, the floodplain meadows Loire River Western Europe. Using pitfall traps, we collected carabids field. 3. Maximum height, litter-depth plant best explained assemblages both groups (multivariate analyses). NDVI enhanced (EVI 2) were strongly related to activity-density only, EVI 2 being surrogate. Relationships between indices spider assemblage patterns either non-significant or weak. 4. demonstrated that is good surrogate carabid temperate floodplain, potential as low cost method mapping at large spatial scales. 5. Our approach provides tool which contributes biodiversity assessment It can contribute prioritisation conservation areas early change detection, keystone indicators.
