摘要: The catalytic combustion characteristics of methane-air mixture inside the chamber a micro-engine were investigated experimentally and numerically. experiments coated with supported noble metal catalysts Pt-La/γ-Al2O3 investigated. Numerical simulations detailed gas phase surface reaction kinetics, heat transfer, leakage to interpret experimental results combustion. indicate micro-combustion is possible in spaces approximately length 0.34 mm diameter 3 mm. Catalytic demonstrated at equivalence ratios 0.8 0.2. free-piston position traces are identical during compression stroke, but different expansion stroke. mass loss causes product temperatures decrease faster ...
