摘要: Purpose Previous estimates of carbon payback time (CPT) corn ethanol expansion assumed that marginal yields newly converted lands are the same as average yield, whereas reported generally lower than yield (47–83 % yield). Furthermore, these productivity system and climate change impacts per unit greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions remain over decades to a century. The objective this study is re-examine CPT considering three aspects: (1) (i.e., yield), (2) technology improvements within system, (3) temporal sensitivity impacts.
