摘要: Abstract In this work, the effect of estimation structure on performance and robustness characteristics a geometric nonlinear estimator is studied for free-radical continuous solution copolymerization reactors where conversion, composition, average molecular weight, solid mass fraction, production rate are inferred from temperature, density, refractive index, volume, flowrate measurements. The case study based characterization robust detectability property, yielding set admissible structures that represent degree freedom in design. choice determines reconstruction error propagation mechanism. Measures estimability (i.e., detectability) introduced to discriminate structures. functioning results confirm ones drawn structural assessment stage, yield best behavior attained with different nominal underlies fixed-structure EKF Luenberger techniques employed previous polymer reactor studies.
