摘要: An experimental investigation is carried out to establish the performance, emission and combustion characteristics of a diesel engine using jatropha biodiesel, biodiesel emulsion fuel (5% water, 93% 2% surfactants) alumina-nanoparticles-blended fuels. The nanoparticles are mixed with in mass fractions 25 ppm 50 systematically. results revealed an enhancement performance reduction harmful pollutants for nanoparticles-blended fuels when compared neat biodiesel. At full load, Brake Thermal Efficiency (BTE) JBD2S5W50A 29%, whereas it 24.9% However, there marginal increase greenhouse gas (viz., CO2) than JBD2S5W due better combustion.
