摘要: Communications between the femoropatellar, medial femorotibial, and lateral femorotibial joints were studied, using fresh equine cadaver specimens. A total of 90 specimens from 45 horses used. Horses randomly assigned to 3 groups with 15 horses/group. Each group was an injection site (femoropatellar joint, or joint), red latex injected into respective location each joint in group. Immediately after injection, flexed extended 100 times. The stifles frozen slight flexion, then cut 1-cm sagittal sections. communications femoropatellar determined. None this study had communication all compartments. When injected, 18 30 (60%) communicated 1 (3%) joint. Injection revealed 24 (80%) that resulted joints. Communication did not exist
