摘要: Abstract A single crystal of high purity aluminum, oriented with the {1 1 1} slip plane and 〈1 1 0〉 direction rotated by 20° in a clockwise sense from theoretical shear direction, was processed equal-channel angular pressing (ECAP) through pass. This configuration designated orientation results are compared earlier data obtained on similar aluminum 0° (1 1 1) lying parallel to direction. The show that both orientations long axes subgrains lie traces primary ( 1 ¯ ) [ 0 ] system average subgrain widths ∼1.3 μm. However, shearing characteristics different because specimen exhibited conventional B-type rolling texture whereas deformed this ∼40° counter-clockwise as passed zone ECAP die.
