摘要: To support the heterogeneous demands for network and mobile user equipment (UE), multiple radio access technologies (RATs), operating with different system configurations resources, have evolved now coexist. Recently, data traffic exponentially increasing, there has been a significant expansion in wireless infrastructure, raising justifiable concern over concomitant drastic increase energy consumption. Thus, energy-efficient design multi-RAT networks is becoming increasingly important. In this paper, we consider resource allocation that maximizes efficiency (EE) orthogonal frequency division (OFDMA) networks. end, present optimal problem parallel transmission utilizing RATs. Since formulated NP-hard, modified proposed, which near-optimal algorithm developed by exploiting intrinsic quasiconcavity of problem. reduce computational complexity, develop low-complexity suboptimal strategy based on joint iterative subcarrier waterfilling power Simulation results show proposed algorithms can achieve higher EE compared to conventional spectral-efficiency-based approach obtain performance comparable solution, but much less complexity.
