摘要: Reproductive abuse is a poorly understood form of violence against women. It defined as deliberate attempt to interfere with or control women's reproductive choices and usually perpetrated by male intimate partner. associated range poor health outcomes for women, increasing the likelihood that they will visit healthcare provider. Despite this, there dearth evidence inform best practice in settings, particularly research highlights voices survivors. Qualitative studies date have focused on partner sexual more broadly, yet it likely presents its own nuance terms supportive response. In this paper, we address gap reporting qualitative data from 14 women who self-identified survivors abuse. Findings suggest providers an important role play responding abuse, focusing taking problem seriously, reinforcing behaviour wrong, asking about other forms addressing needs priorities contraception autonomy. This study has implications development guidelines female patients.
