摘要: The significance of QoS-assurance is being increasingly recognized by both the research and wider communities. In latter case, this recognition driven increasing adoption business 24-7 software systems QoS decline that end-users experience when these undergo dynamic reconfiguration. At beginning 2006, author set up a project named DynaQoS©-RDF (QoS-assurance Dynamic Reconfiguration on Reconfigurable Dataflow Model), which was then sponsored CQ University Australia. Over last two years, has investigated for dataflow systems, are characterized pipe-and-filter architecture. addressed issues such as: global consistency protocol transactions, necessary sufficient conditions QoS-assurance, execution overhead control reconfiguration, state transfer stateful components, design benchmark. This paper discusses issues. It also proposes various strategies presents benchmark evaluating reconfiguration systems. implemented using v1.0 platform. Various strategies, including those from literature benchmarked, best efforts identified. Copyright © 2008 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
